I love precious Mother Earth whom I also call GAIA. I know GAIA to be a living entity and ALL of us to be a part of her cycles and systems. I was created from GAIA and stardust. I exist now as a collection of teeny weeny bits and pieces of the universe and a soul-force light body which inhabits this marvelous conglomeration. My corporeal self shall disappear but my God self connected soul shall return to the great conscious soup from whence it came.

I am very thankful for the teachers I have found including teachers in the online community and my wonderful yoga teachers who bless me more than they can know.

I first came across Ram Dass and his book, Be Here Now, in 1986 as a freshman in college. Be Here Now, and a Loren Eisley's The Immense Journey, opened my mind up beyond my relatively constrained upbringing in the Christian church and Western Judeo-Christian paradigm. This isn't to say that I discarded my spiritual upbringing, but rather I found additional richness in my knowing of a personal and spiritually felt presence of God and heavenly spirit.

My Most Profound Belief
I believe that nature includes all. Nature does not stop at the border of a park, nor does it stop at the Earth-Air boundry. Nature is divine creation and always evolving and resolving. The concept of heaven that humanity strives for is available through conscious creation in the here and now. We do not see, nor are we aware of all that shares existence with us.

Just so people know, I have been taking yoga classes and enjoying the last month or so of canoeing and therefore not as regular as I used to be at the BTR shows. I still luv ya!

old age

What are we going to do when we get old? Did we make enough money in our lives so that we can retire comfortably? Does it make sense to live uncomfortably before we retire? Will social security be around and will the amount I get back be enough to live on?

This is one of my greatest anxieties - that I will reach retirement age and be forced to work at McDonald's just so I can keep a roof over my head. One of my other anxieties would be reaching retirement age and being miserable because I did not live a full life on account of building a career so that I could live a full life when I am old.

In this crux I am, given present dismarital circumstances, and it is HERE and NOW that I intend to LIVE. Authentic and unapologetic to be me. The me-est me that I could ever be. As the part of me that is God and the part of God that is me (insert your favorite term for his imperial flying spaghetti monster). My higher self's higher self is thy guide. Love thy road. Human thy chariot. Spirit thy driver. Felicity thy muse. Thy thy my.
