~My grandmother, Bless her, lead me to Christ at an early age and even though my mother and brother quit going to church I continued on my own going to every church in the neighborhood. I developed a strong relationship with Jesus and found he was with me all the time! By the time I was 13 I grew very disallusioned with the church, God wasn't there! I wandered for a time and at 17 I had a vision that reunited me with the universe and set me on a course to study all the religions of the world and embrace them...it's not really a surprise that I have found God everywhere.

The story about your mother "not having a clue" rang true for me as well. Briefly, I could see things from the "other side" (not sure which) for years since maybe 4 or 5. Basically, it was it was scolded out of my consciousness before I even got to ten years old. To this day -- it still has not returned. In some way I am grateful for that, because now, I see differently through my mind and "central eye" more tolerant and pleasant visions that I can share without sounding crazy.
So sorry to hear about your back issues. I am leaning and sitting on pillows as I write this. I have two slipped disks that don't bother me too much if I do yoga stretches. Back problems run in my family, as we are a tall group.
