SPIRITUAL NAME: Nancy (which means grace). I chose the name Nanineko because Nan represents the beginning of my name, and my Destiny number is 9. Ko is of course co. Calling myself Nanineko allows me to feel I am one with my Destiny here!

My mission is to assist in opening up the Heart Channel so that all may feel loved, healed, and blessed.
This painting is a picture of the door that opened for me underwater in a dream in 1976. I dreamed that I had died, and fell to the bottom of the sea. Then a door opened, to the Inner See. My inner world was now open to me.

The world is full of hurt and troubled souls longing for love and acceptance, and many who long for just the simple necessities of life. The world is also full of love! And full of abundance for everyone! But, we are out of balance..... and that is Changing.... as more and more of us wake up to our true natures, coming more into balance with ourselves, and realize ourselves as souls. Earth is a classroom; we are here to grow.
As a Wayshower I have painted pictures of the Journey of the Soul, putting out into the world positive images of wholeness and transformation. The images and colors are positive expressions of connectivity to an inner life. Through my art I have found Union with the deeper recesses of my soul. I believe that by putting images of Beauty and Harmony and Balance out into the world, we create more Beauty and Harmony.
My mission is to heal the wounded. When we are hurt, we often want to de-sensitize ourselves so we won't be so hurt again. We don't want to FEEL so much pain. But cutting off our emotions stops us from growing. We need to learn how to channel our feelings, be the transmitters of energies that we are, and keep our hearts open.
In my memoir, "Girl Under Water" / subtitle: "A Mask With Wings," I tell how my mother conceived me in revenge for World War II. I was the least likely candidate to revenge anything! Soft, warm, loving, forgiving, sensitive, artistic. Even when bad things happened to me later, I didn't fight back. However, being that I believe that we choose our parents, and the irrefutable Law of Attraction guides us to those experiences we need in order to grow, eventually I had to ask myself - why did I choose to be my mother's revenge? The answer, of course, had been with me since childhood in nightmares of death. And eventually I was able to connect with a child, a little girl, who had been killed in World War II. And then I was able to look back on the difficulties I have had in this life, and realize it was all in order that I would connect. That I would wake up to my true self, experience myself as a Soul. I teach that everything happens for a reason. That it is up to us to pierce the veil of our illusions and see the truth of our being. All is Love. Everything is working towards our highest good.

We are all evolving, opening up to the Light Within. Pegasus, Guardian of poets and dreamers.
See how the Tarot card of The Fool is like Pegasus, above? They are both about to take off over the cliff, following their bliss, their call, their inner voice And we will be carried aloft if we don't look back or look down or give into our fears.
The main thing is to have a dream And then to follow it wherever it takes you, trusting, all the while.
See how the little white dog resembles Pegasus? I just noticed it myself! But I think the message is to follow your instincts, your animal instincts. And just Go. Be on Your Way!
Ceremony of Asking
This is very interesting. Since I did my Ceremony of asking last March (2009) in the Spirit Fire Ceremony Initiation here, my asking has either manifested, or I have let go of it, or I have learned or am the process of learning, to do the things I need to do -- myself.
I believe in the "asking," and I also believe we are the ones that give to ourselves what we most need and are meant to have, at any given moment.
In the year that I have been a member of the Gold Ring, my growth has been unimaginably fast. But then, I have also given myself the experience of what this site, this community, has to offer. I have taken advantage of opportunities that have come my way. And, I have created my own opportunities.
It all comes from the Self, in giving and in receiving, and in being open. I asked for everything I wanted, and I am receiving all that I am allowing. Thank you, Gold Ring!
DREAM OF BLISS:
This bliss involves staying in the light, soul consciousness, total acceptance of everything that is, absence of judgment, living the multi-dimensional life, while staying grounded and focused.
DREAM OF WISDOM: The innate wisdom of Mother Earth. Remaining in the flow of beauty of being, knowing that I am water, air, fire and earth, coming from my higher mind, while yet feeling the wealth of emotional energy that drives me on and inspires me continually and without end.

DREAM OF LOVE: Oneness with all beings. Oneness with the self. A balance of male and female energies. Coming from the heart in all that I do, all that I am.

I HEAR: With love. Because 4 years ago I suddenly went DEAF in my left ear. I know this was because I complained so much about noise. Being acutely sensitive to all sounds, I suffered terribly from noisy neighbors. When I became deaf on one side, I looked upon it as a gift. But also a lesson to hear with LOVE. And so I do.

Artist at Work (circa 1981) aka "The Artist As Samurai" To be a creative person is to be a fighter. It takes energy to create, and to grapple with your subject matter and your materials. The T-shirt happens to say "Freedom" - my brush was my sword.
I Teach: Writing. Specifically, memoir writing, as I have found that writing about one's life is a path to multi-dimensionality. Perhaps the first step towards consciousness of other dimensions is awareness of one's own simultaneous existence in the past as well as the ever-changing present. I am a private writing coach, in person and on-line. I also teach how to make a pie crust from scratch! I come from a long line of women pie-makers, sweet as well as savory, and have long been familiar with the communal enjoyment to be found in sharing food that has been baked in a crust. My specialty of late has been "Bean Pie." But the favorite around my house is Key Lime Pie. Which brings me to the third thing I teach, and it is related to both memoir and pie: It's not so much what happens to you as what you make of it!

Under the heading "Star System" I put Andromeda. But really, what the heck do I know??? I mean, OF COURSE I relate to everything I read and hear about the Pleiades and Sirius... but I never felt any particular attachment. Then, in the mid-90s I was going through one of my intense phases of looking words up in the dictionary to find out what they meant. Words I knew, not difficult words... but words I wanted to know the roots of, because I was seeing/hearing them in different ways. As if the letters and the numbers they represented, were a type of code. The name Andromeda came to me...... Now, my birth name is "Nancy" and Nancy is derived from "Ann", and "Da" is a Welsh word for "father." AND I'm an artist. And I didn't have an audience for my work (in those pre-internet days). So it just seemed a brilliant solution to believe I was painting pictures for my Da in "Heaven." And after a while, okay, just RECENTLY! .....I started to see/feel that I was feeling this P U L L -- as in "Ann, d r a w me to you...."
So, I am posting this because I was wondering if anyone else has had this sort of feeling about words? I mean, the English language is just INCREDIBLE!!!! But so is French! and German.... and every language on Earth! If we could just READ........

Blessing ALL and thank you Nanineko for leading our group. I think this is an exciting time.
I am an artist, writer, nurse and sometimes healer. Am I a wayshower? I never actually gave myself a label of wayshower.. but as I watch the videos and read the site the name does fit. Many years ago I was drawn to a high mountain lake to sit. Some may of called it a vision quest but it was more of a calling. I was shown many things and after that had many visomns. Since then I have travelled to many communities to work and met many teachers. I was have studied so many "isms" I will not list them all. I have picked prayers and songs from a variety of traditions that I use for myself as a way of protection, healing and in-to-me-see. Part of my story is on my web site www.taylyn.com -- My Story.
I live a wonderful life altough sometimes I forget. I just travelled from beautiful British Columbia to Central California. What a beautiful drive. I stopped along the way to watch the trees and streams and spent a few hours in Mt. Shasta. Right now I am in Sacramento and tomorrow I go to The Napa Valley.. wine country.
For the last month I have been updating my website and today I updated my profile here on the Golden Ring.

Disappointed , well I was sure the Train had set its cource , and I dont understand what will happen now or why . It should have worked out fine we thought . But I understand that its for the best to get out of it immediatly if your not happy and content . What do I do as a Wayshower ? I am not initiated , just a freelancing contributor . I make contributions . Not only here on GR but everywhere . I have changed perspective and enjoys to share a broader view of things in blogs and interests. I have asked the Universe for making ends meat and taking steps on the path . Maybe it includes a meeting september 1th up in the great lakes and a collection of GR dvd´s .

Your work is out of this world Goddess! As I was observing your art and becoming present with each piece, I began to have chills run up my legs and arms. Ending with a shutter of whoa.. So powerful, all say so much to interpret and gain from, all are equally EXPLOSIVE!! All in a out of sight way of course. I was once an artist using this type of media, paint, pencils, pastels, charcol long ago... You are simply Magic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry if this sounds a little corny -- but it's straight to the point of I CAN. I'm joining this club myself, as of this very moment. Case in point: I have been dreaming and wishing that I would find someone to help me make a you tube video so that I would have that additional option to share my paintings and garner more exposure. Well, I just found out that I CAN do it myself! The program was in my Picasa application all along - only I didn't SEE it until now! Because I didn't think I could... And now I know I CAN.
The Ceremony of Asking really REALLY works! Ask and you shall receive. And be willing to take the steps necessary to bring your goals and dreams to fruition. The first step is self-empowerment. No one else can give that to us.
I have to do the work meanwhile, but when I finish it - and make it real - I will post it on my profile.

I soooo hear you !!! When I was an elementary school teacher years ago I taught the children a mantra... "I am Loveable and Capable" as well as wrote their names on the board under a "I CAN" list... Many years later a student wrote to me that she'd graduated from NYU and she always rememebered how important it was to her as a little 7 year old to be on that list! (All my students were...but you get the point...) When someone authentically believes in us it eventually becomes a placeholder for when we can step into knowing that Truth for ourselves. Thank you for reminding me that "I Can" too. I forgot there for a bit..took a break for awhile And Now ...I'mmmmm Back! Thank you for your Joyful energy. Love and Sharing!
