| Q: How do I upload pdf documents onto my profile? | A: Pdf documents can not be added directly to a profile. However, there are a few ways around this but you may want to consider the size and length of your pdf document before trying this. 1) Pdf's can also be translated into a notepad or word document. Go to the pdf that is saved on your computer - open it- click file- save as text copy - you will need most recent Adobe version for this, remember where you saved it - open it and presto your document is now in a format where you can copy and paste the text into your profile. 2) If there is a link on the web to your pdf document you can link it. It won't take much room on your profile and is probably the best solution. First write the title of the document on the location of the page where you want the pdf to appear. than insert the link beside that. You do that by going to the url copy -right click- copy and go to the location on your profile where you want it to appear- left click - paste. (Add Link) 3) You can create a wiki page, considering the validity of the information, in one of the categories under illuminating links. pdf's can be loaded as attachments to wiki pages and they will appear at the very bottom of the main page once done. To do this on a wiki page - go to the "Do More" tab at the top of the page, click on attach file- browse to the location where you have the pdf stored on your computer and add it.
