I would love to meet up with you all, but i am just not sure if i can make it at this time, I have always felt the Christ Connection with Glastonbury, And i just love Avebury, having first visited them both in the Early 1970s and many times after, May would be out for me but June may be a possibility,

At Avebury on Solstice we can see the crop circles and camp at the Barge in Honey street by the canal which is just above the main site for crop circles. They have a magical ceremony there on Solsticeand a lovely pub where we can all meet. I just think it would be easier than Glastonbury which can be commercial and it was the ancient site for the meeting of the tribes at Solstice.
Love to everyone

I think we should choose a date first and all agree that we want to meet then. Then secondly we should choose a place and all agree. Or maybe we should have a vote on place and go with the majority......we are all waffling and will never get it together at this rate!!! Lets start by saying it isat summer solstice and any one who wants to come should say yes on the forum....Should everyone in Uk be emailed to give a reply...over to miss magical or jeannechristie
love to sisters and do lets meet.....what fun!!!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

There has been talk locally of camping being made available at Avebury itself this year - potential site being the field with the Stone Avenue in. Otherwise it is a fair trek to Avebury from The Barge, and last year there was enforced "no parking" for a considerable distance around Avebury itself. I will keep you updated with any further news I hear.

Hello Wayshowers,
Thank you for all the replies and suggestions, Missmagikal and I are so pleased with the positive response!
Everyone seems keen to meet, unless of course unable to be there physically!
I think we should arrange a SKYPE meeting first then we can have a proper chat!
If you would like to send your skype names to missmagikal or myself, we'll arrange a convenient time for most.
My Skype name is Jeanne B. Drinkel
If you see me on-line, give me a call!
Love, Light and Hugs
Jeanne

P.S I think I will need to book a room or caravan, as I think my camping days might be over- fun as they were!!!!lol

"Paddington Farm is a 43 acre organic farm overlooking the Somerset Levels and Mendip Hills. It was set up as a Trust in the 1980's as an educational and recreational resource focusing on environmental learning, rural skills and crafts, and gaining self-confidence in nature. It's a place where kids can learn about animals and mud gardening and make noise and run free.

The accommodation available at the farm is either the self-contained farmhouse that sleeps up to 20 people in two dormitories (5 beds and ten beds) and a number of smaller rooms (1 twin, 2 singles, 1 double).
There is a large sitting/dining room, big kitchen and a woodburner downstairs and a meeting/gathering space upstairs.

The Long house has some smaller rooms, ideal for backpackers, couples or young families - two twin rooms, and a family room with two sets of bunk beds ( one a double for parents) and a sitting/dining room. All the rooms are self-catering with a shared bathroom/toilet.

Prices for the accommodation are: farmhouse - £172.50 per night (which works out at well under £10 per person for 20 people) Longhouse - £15 per person per night, children under 15 £7.50, under 2's free.
"
Thankyou Gypsee for your input we really apprieciate your help and will discuss possible venue as well as Avebury when we have our skype meeting,,,

Hi Everyone,
I think most people have decided on AVEBURY as the venue, and the SUMMER SOLSTICE on 21st June as the date,
so if everyone to the SOUTH of BIRMINGHAM who wishes to meet up -contacts Missmagikal with their Skype details,
and everyone NORTH of that (including Birmingham) contacts myself, we can organise a skype meeting.
If you don't have Skype- PLEASE WATCH THIS SPACE FOR FURTHER DETAILS.

"thanks great people. I know the stones are magical and of course solstice is also a good time and allignment , but I also know that it will be a party which is also great , if that is what you are after. This is a great and synchronomeous time but it won't give us time to chat and get to know the group. Tenting days for me are over, although i do have a three bedroom tent. I am not up to all nighters anymore and my energy is very focused on Kids4life. I dont have the energy that I once had, I appologise for hat.

If you could through this medium and not skype , to keep me updated and let me know if there is a gathering of us, like minded souls where we can share who we are and how, if at all, we can work together, I am keen. Just a gathering at a later date , far from the maddening crowd...and it is a huge crowd...possibly over 5000 people....let me know please.

So for that reason I shan't make this meeting. I appologise in advance.

Please let me know when, if at all, there will be an informal meet with time to gather and talk and share.

Om shanti

I am sure it will be a great party..if you see a wizardress conducting a meeting and gatheting in the cemtre of the stones.with a purple withes outfit, .that's Ashera and her harmonic overtones...join her, she is a pillar of healing light. she normally conducts a ritual on the stones...

Om Shanti and God Luck
Gypsey"
Thankyou Dear Gypsee,,, you have a very good point there about the amount of people that will be at avebury for solstice and we will discuss all aspects beforehand and keep you updated here on the thread if you dont have skype for the meeting.

Where does everyone live? I'm in Norwich, would be great to start up a local group that meets on a regular basis, watch a few of the videos invite other people along to join in.

I have a camper van that I would prefer to stay in as The George in Amesbury is quite pricey and the whole area will be jam packed as it is right by Stonehenge. Maybe some of us could camp and some stay in the hotel and all meet at the pub in Avebury....it is a tiny village with only one pub. The Barge camping ground in Honey street is loads closer to Avebury.
Love and Light to everyone

This just sounds like so much fun and I would love to meet you all. I am thinking of flying out there now. Not sure where to stay & what to bring so let me know if you have any suggestions. What is the weather like there at that time?

Woww- That would be brilliant- it would be great to meet you too!
There are probably a few cultural differences that you may notice- that make us tick the way we do!
Your white cat is identical to mine ( Sammy)
There are rooms still at the Castle + Ball, I believe, if you want to avoid all the crowds, sometimes.
The weather here - it is usually called 'flaming' June, because it's cold!
But you never know- we will take trousers or jeans, or 3/4 lengths, summer t-shirts, and sweaters to put on top!
Don't forget an umbrella and bedsocks!!
We are getting so excited!
Love
Jeanne

P.S- see if you can pack Rysa!
