Yes! I agree with jeannechristie! These meditations are very beautiful & centering. While it's great to do these at the designated times...I've also found that doing them whenever I can has the same powerful sense of connecting with everyone. Thank you so much for creating such a rich, abundant field of flowing meditation flowers for us all to enjoy at any time! Blessings, Love and Light! xoxo 11  out of 11 found this valuable. I also feel the same way. I do the meditations whenever I can. I find them to be so powerful that I have had my most profound realizations when I am doing these meditations. They carry the collective energy and I find they elevate my vibration more rapidly than other meditations. Thank-you so much for giving this wonderful gift to everyone here ! Much appreciation and Love! Namaste Dixie :)

Hello I watched the videos here http://goldring.wetpaint.com/page/2-Dark+Light Last night. All of them.
I wasn't sure where to comment on them until someone pointed it out ot me Jivanda helped me. THanks Jivanda.
anyway I really liked them. I tried to get my mum to watch one, mum and I are like kindred spirits we are really close
so what ever future my spiritual enlightenment brings me I really wish for her to share in that. However she is not as open minded
as myself. So every few months I send her something, I'm not pushy I do really wish she would enjoy it as i do though.
THE VIDEO's made alot of sense. And seem somewhat familiar, Like somehow we already know this deep inside. And it is bringing a reminder
of the truth back to us. Anyway I loved them. Someitmes i do think they focus too much on the dark alliance, I know how important that is but for new comers it might be a bit overwhelming and negative sounding.
Love Unison_76 I too can't do things when they are scheduled because I don't under stand didly squat about the time zones lol. Mel :)

oh and I watched the other one as well, I closed my eyes meditated and enjoyed it, even though my 3 month old and my husband were still in the same room, I didn't mind or barely let myself notice them. I still ummmmed to the music held my hands in prayer position, put my feet up, closed my eyes and thoroughly enjoyed it, My hubby thinks all this is weird i think - but i don't care it helps me get thru the stressful days :) hehe.

Hello I'm back again, it is now the following day and I have just listened to the NEXT meditaiton, perhaps a bit sooner than should have but oh well.
it was lovely, I loved the music and even more so the beautiful Lotus flowers. I have recently been getting Lotus oils etc. and now I am trying to find out if Lotus can be grown here in Australia. Also I have a Lotus necklace. Isn't it the most beautiful symbol !! such a perfect thing for a meditation. and for clearing Chakra's i think.
Love mel :)

10. Lotus Flower/Hindu Mantras
Apr 30 2009, 10:56 AM EDT | Post edited: Apr 30 2009, 11:07 AM EDT
I just saw the video for today's meditation. The Lotus flower has always been of great symbolic relevance to me since I was a child; way before I see it being so appreciated here. I grew up in Colombia where flowers are so abundant, we even export them to the world...my Mother knew all the flowers by name and told me once that the Lotus Flower was one that grew beautifly amongst the mood and tenderly challenged me to keep my beauty of soul no matter whatever surrounded me. That was probably the best stoned principle I got in my life to get me through thick and thin....I am happy to have grown up keeping my soul's innocence (hope you know what I mean) thanks to that principle represented in the Lotus Flower.
I meditate on this flower Strenght and Quality and amazing Beauty growing in the most incredible places; in receiving its encouragement and resonance.....

Just one question though. Do mantras have to be Hindu? excuse my ignorance but I could just listen to any song of my choice, one my soul sings with or rest with and have the same meditation.
Why mantras have to be hindu? is it because people don't hear English as a good sounding language? what about Spanish or French then? something that I can actually understand within my now realm....

Love and Respect to you all -^-

I have a little trouble with time zones too. I think it's a left brain/ right brain thing. It will be real cool to meditate collectively with all of you. I am so happy to participate in this with ALL of us!

Mantras are simply Sacred Words or Chants with the Intention of Connecting to the Divine. It is something that is repeated to uplift one's self. They can be in any language and historically come from many different cultures. We can make new mantras, too, which would be appropriate in this Time. A Positive Affirmation is an example of a modern mantra, as something we repeat to uplift ourselves. Try looking up the word mantra on wikipedia.

The Lotus Flower grows out of the mud and blooms on the top of the water in great beauty. In the Hindu and Buddhist traditions the Lotus Flower is said to represent Transcendence, and also the Crown Chakra, as the Thousand Petalled Lotus. Our understanding and experience can be deepened when we appreciate the context of the varying traditions that these wonderful meditations come from.

There is a clock that shows EST time on the Meditation Schedule page: http://goldring.wetpaint.com/page/Meditation+Schedule
If that clock says 1 or 7 o'clock meditation starts...
No need to calculate... just watch this clock...

The 2/5/09 meditation was very powerfuL!
I started off on a desert island, there was just myself and a cobra, which raised his body as if to strike, but we just stared at each other-
I wondered if he would be my cause of death, but when the music changed was in a camp with a tribe in the Himalayas,
one of them, my boyfriend, was playing the bongos,
there was going to be a human sacrifice, it could have been myself, but I felt very loved and protected,
then my boyfriend became my husband that I have now!
It was brilliant!
Thank you!

Today's meditation took me back to a fond memory. Two years ago I was on a spiritual journey In Bhutan during Wesak. Ancient Buddhist texts were taken from the temples to be carried through the fields by the local farmers. The temples candles were made of yak butter. The second son of a family goes into training at six. It is a very heart centered country as well as a ninth dimentional portal. Thank you for sharing this meditation. 4  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

I could not do todays meditation because my computer wont download stuff fast enough with that much meg until we get more meg on the 7th may.
but i did have a question (as i did read the writing) how can there be love because if there is nothing then how can love exist, how can knowledge exist, it even says there is no consciousness well how can THAT be so if we are clearly HeRe speaking to one another??? I am not in anyway trying to have a go at this meditation - I am merely trying to understand it.
Thank you :)

You don't have to be at a computer to do the Meditation... The most important this is to try and pause in your day at the time of the meditation and focus meditatively, so we can all connect together. 10  out of 10 found this valuable. Do you?
